Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Most of our packages include two professional organisers, Suellen & Rachel, on-site for the amount of time you have arranged.  For example our Introductory to Decluttering Package starts with 3 Hours.  During that time we determine what space you would like to organise, sort through all the items in that room to determine whether they are to be kept, donated or are rubbish.  Then we also include a quick clean and tidy of the space being organised before returning the items that are being kept in an organised and neat way.  The packages also include us moving any furniture around as necessary, and we can also provide simple labels for any containers used on the day.  We will also take with us any items that you wish to donate or throw away that can fit into our vehicles. Home Packages

In a normal home we can usually declutter and finish one room, whether it is a pantry, a kitchen, living area or a bedroom.  However, if it is a large kitchen or pantry or a room quite full of stuff, or if you would like help sorting thru paperwork (please see our Paperwork Package that we offer) in an office, that tends to take more time than 3 hours to complete it.  Also, we can help with people struggling with hoarding, but it is not possible to judge how much time it may take and would be charged at an hourly rate.

Yes!  We always prefer to have you there for at least the first session so that we can really go through all the items of a space to see if they are still being used.  The time together gives us the chance to get to know you and your family and what works and doesn’t work.

When we arrive we will begin by confirming with you what room or space you would like to start with.  We can always help you figure out even on the day where it would be the best place to begin.  Then we go through all the items in the space to determine whether they are staying, donating or rubbish.  We give the space a quick clean and tidy that we have been decluttering.  Afterwards we rearrange and organise furniture and the items you have decided to keep as we put them back.  Lastly, we remove any items that are marked as donation and rubbish and take them with us (as much as we can fit in our vehicles).  If there is a large amount of items to be donated or removed, we can organise to bring a trailer at an additional cost.

We bring a selection of containers with us that we can on-sell to you that can at least provide a start to organising a space.  Additionally, we can go shopping before the next session for any items that you would like or require.

There is so much research out there on the effects clutter and disorganised spaces has on us as individuals.  That is why we love what we do and are so passionate about helping people reclaim their homes, offices and in some ways their sanity.  Being able to walk into a freshly decluttered and organised space gives one a sense of accomplishment and happiness.  If you find yourself overwhelmed, stressed, and/or don’t know where to start, that is when it is time to get help.  Often we feel like we have to have it all together and be able to handle it all, but we are all gifted in different areas, and organising might not be your strong suit.  We would love to help you in any way, without fear of judgement.  Contact us today if you want to start on the road to freedom from clutter.

Unfortunately, we do not sell items or clothing on behalf of clients.  The price of items tends to not be worth paying us to sell them.  We are happy to set aside items that you would like to sell on your own, but this is not a service we offer.  Most of the time our clients are happy knowing that their items being donated are helping to fund local charities and organisations.

We would love to help you with the process of moving.  We offer a Downsizing and Moving House package so that you know what you are putting in your boxes is actually items that you want.  We don’t offer to pack your boxes, but with our help decluttering you can move with confidence that you aren’t wasting your time, effort and money moving items you don’t need or want anymore.  We can also help prepare your house for real estate photos using your own items, presenting your home in the best way possible.  Moving House & Downsizing

We offer a Unpacking & Setting House Package that helps you set up the rooms in your house the best way from the beginning.  In one session we can often get a full kitchen unpacked and organised or the pantry put away and ready to go for dinner that evening.  You can walk into your new home without the stress of trying to figure out where to put everything. Moving House & Downsizing

We can take the hard and often emotional work out of sorting through a loved one’s possessions.  With empathy and care we can separate out sentimental items for the family as well as determine which items could be taken to local charities for donation or to the tip for rubbish.

Yes!  We know how hard it can be to find someone who can help with those that struggle with hoarding tendencies.  We are here to help, and not to judge you or your loved ones in any way.  It is a blessing to help people get their lives and homes back to a safe living environment.  We offer tailor-made hoarding packages as each client is different.

Don’t worry, we offer an Upkeep Package!  Life is busy and we know any space will need a certain amount of care to maintain.  That’s why we are happy to come again and put any room or space back into order.  And if there is something that hasn’t been working, then we can come up with a new way to try.  We can schedule in regular upkeep services to reset for example the pantry or office, or you can book us in whenever things become cluttered again.

Contact us via phone, email, Facebook or Instagram.  We can work out when the best availability is for you and be able to book something in soon.  As part of that we require a $100 deposit in order to reserve your booking. We hope to hear from you soon!
